Q: What's the problem with store-bought brands?

What you need to know is that there is no regulated standard regarding skincare ingredients. Unfortunately, that means you cannot take words such as "natural" and "safe" at face value. Companies can say whatever they want to make you want to buy their products.

Consider: The European union has banned 1,100 ingredients from cosmetic use because they are harmful or proven to cause cancer; the US has only banned 10! Companies are only required to test the chemicals in their products for acute skin reactions, such as a rash or swelling; no testing of long-term effects is required.

Remember: What goes on your skin is absorbed into your bloodstream. The simple truth is that many of the unbanned chemicals can cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive problems. Chemicals are cheap and serve to keep the products from getting rancid. Just because a product smells wonderful and is in beautiful packaging and costs a lot of money does not mean it’s effective or safe enough to put on your body. The ugly truth is it seems money is more important than health to these companies. Americans use many products in a single day. From toothpaste to shampoo, body wash, body lotion, hair styling products, deodorants, perfume and make-up to name a few.  These chemicals may be in small amounts in a single use, but add up every day, month and year, and you can see how your body can build up toxicity linked to cancer. The National Cancer Institute states that 1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men are expected to develop cancer in their lifetime.
I strongly urge you to take a close look at your daily habits and rituals.  Just a few simple changes could make huge differences in your future and the future of your loved ones.

Q: What's the best way to store my LilaJune Skincare?

LilaJune Skincare uses natural preservatives, not harmful ones.  You can ensure its freshness for the duration of usage by putting the lids tightly on the containers to minimize exposure to oxygen. It's as simple as that!

Q: There seems to be a lot of controversy over sunscreen. What's it all about and what's best for my skin?

LilaJune's Safe Sunscreen is a physical sunscreen, not a chemical one. Chemical sunscreens absorb readily into the blood stream and contain multiple known endocrine disrupters, which are at the center of the controversy. We chose to go with the safest sunscreen option.

Q: How often will I have to replenish my LilaJune Skincare products?

An added benefit of using pure products is that the ingredients are very potent. That means a little bit goes a long way. Use the products sparingly, adjusting for your own skin type, and expect that the containers will last anywhere from one to three months.

Q: How are LilaJune Skincare products shipped?

We use the US Postal Service to deliver your order to your door. Shipping is free with a purchase of $100 or more.

Q: What does the "100% satisfaction guarantee" mean?

If you use your LilaJune Skincare products as directed and don't like the results, send an email to and we will make it right for you.
